A practical first production
- Create an account, then start a Production and upload an audio or video file. Auphonic includes two free hours of processed audio per month; free outputs include an Auphonic jingle.
- For repeatable work, save a Preset. Choose the loudness target for the destination, then enable only the processing you need—for example leveling plus noise reduction for a spoken podcast.
- Check the completed file and transcript before publishing. For multitrack productions, use the individual tracks when you need Auphonic to create an optimized mixdown.
Automate a production workflow
Auphonic offers a REST API in Simple and JSON forms, plus a CLI. Use these when a recording should move from capture to processing to publishing without manual uploads. Automatic processing is a strong finishing step, but it does not replace listening. Keep an unprocessed original, test a preset on a representative episode, and check any aggressive denoising, filler-word cuts, or speech-generated metadata before release.
